Without A Word

a play by Molly Brogan

Illustrated by Robert Parker

Without a Word is a kaleidoscopic view of the original man, who forms and reforms impulse as the dark night of the soul becomes dawn. The characters of Without a Word invite the audience to join them as they juggle Logos between each other and within themselves to become the one and the many.

Without a Word is one of Molly Brogan’s earlier works and was well received when it was produced in the Chicago area in the mid 1970’s in collaboration with one of the USA’s most exhilarating designers, Margaret O’Brien. It has been called cubist or surrealist, but simply defies category as Without a Word leads its audience through the primal processes of self discovery and consciousness raising.

Remember Me

A novel by Molly Brogan

Molly Brogan wrote Remember Me to make the statement that the US family court system is failing the very families it was designed to protect. Yet Remember Me is more, as the first novel in a trilogy that provides the larger canvas to portray a woman’s spiritual journey. But as the first book in a trilogy, Molly Brogan wrote Remember Me to portray her Mary Margaret character as a woman on the brink of a spiritual awakening, who allows life to overcome her by looking externally for self realization. The dissolution of hope, downward spiral of unflinching grief, and Mary’s inability to act, seal her fate.

Chasing Twilight

A novel by Molly Brogan

The follow up to Remember Me is Chasing Twilight, the story of a flash fire love that initiates the characters into the nuances of sacred relationship.  The characters are reunited over the Internet, having known each other in high school, and after each feels their own painful ending to failed marriage.  The book is a dialogue between lovers who have the wisdom to witness the processes of relationship and the unfolding of awareness, as love raises consciousness.  And yet the characters are not yet ready to let go of their need and their egos, to create the sacred space necessary for sacred relationship.

Shadow Dancing

A novel by Molly Brogan

The third book, yet to be released, is the story of twin flame love as depicted in every cultural mythology since Isis and Osiris. Shadow Dancing is a glimpse into the journey of spirit that allows infinite depth to the intimacy of sacred relationship. In Shadow Dancing, the characters embrace all aspects of themselves in the sacred space of complete honesty, appreciation and safety needed to create the twin union and the soul's enlightenment. It becomes the initiates guide to self discovery and sacred relationship.

The Trilogy

All three novels are stories of love and loss and, in the vein of Goethe's psychological literature, each examines the effect of character and relationship on experience. In this trilogy, Molly Brogan follows her character through her courageous journey as she learns to let go of her fears and embrace life and love to maximum capacity.
